How do I go most doing it? My mom has never been discover of the US and wants to verify a activate to Africa. Should I ingest a Travel Agency?     Africa is a big place! You first need to narrow down what kind of trip she would like best. Would she be more interested in doing the safari thing or the Sahara thing, Egypt trip? Maybe Kilimanjaro is more her thing?
    Once you have that narrowed down I would suggest you use a travel agent and look for some kind of travel group she can go with.
    Price really depends on where.

    I suggest you use a travel agent… either online or in person..

    search the yellow pages for one…

    as far as a passport, remind her that from now on travelors will need a passport even to take a cruise…and maybe tell her white lies… tell her you guys should take a trip to another state sometime soon. or that she should just have one for id reasons.. many places take a passport for id.

    or you can get the package together for her and give it to her about 2 months ahead of time.. it may not be her bday but that way she has enough time to prepare herself for it… in the package include a check for her passport fees.

    that way she only has to worry about requesting time off from work (unless you do that for her as well but let her employee know that she doesnt know yet)

    also maybe give her another check for some clothes she can buy.. or let her buy her own…. i dont know how your money situtation is..

    with anything you have a great idea and your mother will appreciate it..!
