Posted on 10. Mar, 2010 by admin in America travel

We are thinking a 3-day weekend in pedagogue DC. Should we verify digit of those life to go to Six Flags America? I’ve feature reviews that feature it is separate downbound and the grouping are rude.
BTW, we hit flavour passes and go every season daylong to Six Flags New England and Great Adventure.

In my opinion no. I will say that their Superman roller coaster is amazing, and the roller coaster Batwing is pretty cool, but the park hasn’t been kept very well and there are always rides broken down. Since you have season passes, it wouldn’t hurt to check it out, but if you had your heart set on going to an amusement park, I’d choose King’s Dominion which is a little over an hour away from the DC area.

Our senior class trip was to six flags america… and for the nice long drive we had down to there from northern maryland, it wasn’t worth it. Yes the people can be extremely rude. and the park seems really small. Yes one or two of the roller coasters were pretty awsome, but you can be completely done after bout an hour and a half. And by the way something is usually broken down.

Are you going to experience the appearance and people or are you going to ride the rides and enjoy the park? They have some great coasters, with the best being Superman and Batwing. They are both awesome!!

Since you have Six Flags season passes, I would make a trip. You won’t have to pay anything to get into the park, and you will have some new coasters/rides to experience.
I wouldn’t say that the park is “run down”, but we didn’t have the greatest experience with the park employees. They were a little rude and many were talking on cell phones and appeared that they did not want to be there. This applied to some of the park employees, not all.
On a more positive note, the two wooden coasters at this park are worth a trip to ride. These include Roar and Wild One. This park also has a different (from Six Flags New England) version of Superman:Ride of Steel. I prefer Six Flags New England’s version, but it is still fun and is worth the trip.
This park is no where near as large or as impressive as Great Adventure, but it is worth a trip for a day, or at least part of a day, because you have Six Flags season passes, making it a ‘free’ park.
King’s Dominion and Busch Gardens Europe(highest recommendation) is not too much farther away.
