People to people is this organization that has student ambassordors go to different countries. you learn about that country, develope leadership skills etc. It can be a little pricey i dont know what the price is now but im sure you can call someone or go the info seminars that they have locally. I was invited to go, and really wanted to but didnt have the money. If you are finacially able to, i would totally do it.

its not worth your time or money, don’t even go to the meeting, i was invited too, its mostly a scam. you could go by yourself for cheaper.

I just read the second person’s comment. My sister went to Australia about 10 years ago. I think it was with People to People. She had a good time. Guess it has gone downhill since then. Go here and read what people have said about their experience with People to People.

No, it isn’t free. I was invited to Japan and looked into it, but it was too expensive. A couple thousand dollars. I’m sure it would be a great experience to have, and you could do fund raising.

I have a friend that went to Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in the summer of 2007 with People to People. I think the cost was around $3000 and she was gone for 2-3 weeks. I know she had a great time and made a lot of friends.

I’ve been invited 3 times now – Australia in 2007, China in 2008, (I didn’t go to either one of those) but I may be going to France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy next summer with the letter I just got today!

no it is not free but it is worth it dont listen to the other people because in the long run it is cheaper than going by yourself because they pay for all your meals and you get to do stuff you normally wouldent get to do if you went by yourself at least go to the meeting and see for yourself
