Ok. Do you think you can do this:?
1. Divide 1800 by 33
2. Multiply that number by the cost of fuel per gallon (estimate $2 today).
Will it break? Sure, eventually. But during the trip, who the heck knows?

Making an assumption of 2.00 per gallon.
1800 miles / 33 miles per gallon = 54.5 gallon * 2.00/gallon = $109.00. If you mean it’s 1800 each way, then of course, double it.
Add in the following: Three nights in a Mexican jail with bail, fines and fees: $500.00
Penicillin shots for the screaming jebbies that Lupe gave you: $350.00
Replacing the hub caps and radio that was stolen: $ 250.00
