The fact that we can apologize for our mistakes is pretty damn good, I think.

Nope. Sure, the whole world loves us now, because our LEADER is apologizing for things we either didn’t do or he spun wrong. The world loves a pushover.

Sure did. He said the US government has made a lot of mistakes in the past and is ready to make the changes necessary to make the world a better, safer place for all nations.
That was something very good to say…

He said about the same thing about America that Castro, Chavez and Iran’s wonderful President would have said, but Obama was quick to say he had never made any misatakes and not to blame him*************

I don’t have a lot speeches to refer to, but I don’t think heads of states go to their allies and make speeches about how awesome their own countries are. Generally, they let the person or organization introducing them do that, then they talk about how wonderful the OTHER country is, and how we could be to strengthen the ties between the two nations, or what concerns them about the other nation. So, he probably didn’t say a whole lot about America’s awesomeness, but I don’t think other presidents did either. I really don’t have a problem with what he’s said overseas.

Yes he said we are a great nation and do not go by the 10% of the right wing who make all of America look bad.
