    Slovenia has skiing and is a great country to visit.

    Kranjska Gora ski area is the best known and has a good “ski village” and lots of hotels.

    Vogel ski area is higher and may have more relaible snow. Try to stay at the ski hotel at the top of the lifts. If not, the Hotel Zlaterog is nice, if in the valley.

    The Town of Bled is very scenic, but is probably visited during May to September: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bled
